The article linked to below is fascinating. It shows how Fraym, a Geospatial 2.0 company, are aggregating location based data with satellite imagery to create localized population information. The work was done in partnership with the World Bank. As the article discusses:

The COVID-19 exposure risk distribution shows that high population density, with limited access to basic services in Pakistan, translates into high exposure risk.

WhyofThere are big fans of Fraym. Bobby Pittman and the team are doing some great work. My group are focused on helping Geospatial 2.0 companies like Fraym build relationships with organizations like the World Bank to help solve problems using location-based data.
